About Bimal

Bimal has over 24 years of experience working with a wide range of children with special needs, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Developmental Delay. He is qualified to assess and diagnose children with Autism, ADHD and developmental disabilities.

In 2007 Bimal became an RDI® Program Certified Consultant. The RDI® Program has been a powerful intervention approach enabling Bimal to educate many families on autism from a developmental perspective. RDI has made an enormous difference to individuals with autism and their families. Through the program he has seen many children benefit from addressing the core deficits and helping parents to build a Guided Participation with their child.

Other intervention strategies Bimal employs to complement RDI include TEACCH, Social Stories, CBT and he is currently keenly interested in MNRI. He welcomes opportunities to conduct workshops and seminars on Autism to increase the public’s knowledge and understanding of the challenges faced by individuals on the spectrum and Bimal has conducted numerous workshops in Singapore and overseas.
